So, you can’t just slap black and white on something and automatically call it erotic. I mean, black and white does seem to have the ability to make just about anything prettier than it already is. You can take a picture of a pile of trash, make it black and white and bam! Art. Done. Pro photographers will roll their eyes, but there’s no denying that zapping the color out of something makes it look far more aesthetically pleasing than it previously was.

That is pretty much what we have here. Erotic Black & White is by no means a pile of trash. The sexin’ is sexy and all of the performers are easy on the eyes, but there isn’t much that makes it stand out from your standard porno fair. Well, it was filmed in black and white… or some sort of affect was added in post production to make it black and white. That’s it.

On to the sex. Scene 2 did me right. I felt like the performers were far more into what they were doing compared to the folks in the other scenes. We open up with the sassy brunette playing with herself underneath her panties and totally working a pair of bad ass patent leather heels. Hot. Her guy walks up on her looking fantastic in his jeans and no shirt. He manhandles her all the way to the couch so she can can mount his face. Clearly, I have mixed feelings about this movie. While I felt like they tried to make a regular old porno into something more than is, I’m not too mad at the black and whiteness. The random sex noises that are mixed in with the background music annoy me more than anything. At first I thought the audio was out of sync. I had my little fingers ready to send an email to our (super awesome) technical department. Then I realized that they did this on purpose. You never actually hear any of the sounds that the people in the movie make, just random noises in the background. I don’t get it.

Well, there you have it. A mixed review… clearly it isn’t always black or white. Ha! I couldn’t resist that corny joke.
